I've been a bit of a journaling enthusiast for a while now. I like to document my life as I experience it.

The curiosity to understand human behavior stems from the need to improve and structure experiences in Humanity-Centered Design that adapt to human behavior. I believe humans are complex and their interactions with computers are complexer. I've been in the design industry for about 5 years where I've explored design in UX, Fashion and Graphics and yet I find myself curious over what causes frustration or delight in experiences. The goal is to balance end-user, research-driven design with humanity-centered design that last longer, essentially emphasizing on sustainability, long-term impact and iterative learning.

Currently obsessing about online learning experiences, instructional design and content design.

Words that Express

“Humans understand narrative better than letters and metrics”.

Sept 07, 2024

Here I was attending my Information Architecture Class at 7:43 pm on a Tuesday evening listening to my professor say — “Human beings understand visuals better than words. Languages are complex.” And it got me thinking — but we communicate in words? Yet our eyes are reluctant on reading, but they appreciate form.

I use lines and dots to create depictions of my emotions that remotely resemble them. However, my art is open to interpretation. What you see and what you understand from it, is what the art is. A human life is full of moods, emotions and feelings that often clash, and it's an exhilarating experience. I strive to express my thoughts during times I find it hard to verbally communicate. It's also a form of meditation for me. I enter an experience of flow when I am doodling where my hands take charge, and being relief to my mind, while immersing myself to the experiences and being unaware of my surroundings.
